Some thoughts as we say goodbye to 2016. Some people think it’s been a bad year. Sure, but I’d like to think we also had some happy moments.
This year I had a opportunity to develop more original kits to sell at the Royal School of Needlework shop. I am very grateful that my ‘Blackwork London Skyline‘ kit has been a long seller, and the feedback I receive gives me some courage to design more kits.
Here’s my ‘Blackwork Teapot Sampler’.
This kit includes 32ct linen instead of 36ct since it can be a bit challenging to count the threads for some people.
Another kit is called ‘Blackwork Shading Sampler’.
You can enjoy shading using four kinds of threads – DMC coton a broder, DMC stranded cotton, DMC machine embroidery thread and gossamer silk thread.
My kits are sold at the RSN shop at Hampton Court Palace. There’s an online shop as well.
Thank you very much for your support throughout this eventful year. Sending very best wishes and love to you all but especially to those who have lost someone special this year.
Bring on 2017.
